Weekend 10.8.10

We made it to the park twice this weekend. The weather has been beautiful.

The kids were happy to get out of the house. F kept taking a little boy's bike, He was OK sharing with her. She sang "Its a Small World" the whole time she rode. B took it too, and was pretending she was delivering newspapers. Oh yes, and my kids take books to the park.

Ethan was sick, and Bianca wasn't feeling well, which makes for a very loud and unhappy little girl.

That is how the weekend began.

Saturday was Chilean Independence day, so Sunday evening we had our empanadas.

I had mine with tea,the Americans them with coffee, and apple juice, weird.

We sat on the back porch watching our happy little girls looking out into the water after running around and enjoying the grass, the breeze, and in Bianca's words, the beautiful ducks.

It was a great end to the weekend.

The Z kids were visiting for the weekend


Ethan and I made cupcakes for chilean independance day. We made the little flags ourselves too. He made this snowman cupcake because yes there are so many snowmen in Chile on September 18th. Lela made empanadas. So so good.



Stashi got an accupuncture treatment which apparently was a bit uncomfortable. It did help with her cold though.
I think she enjoyed looking like a unicorn for a few minutes.
