Halloween

The kids had a great time. They collected 13lbs of candy, as Dan Lela and I watched them Trick or Treat from the sidewalk. Our thoughts going back to previous years when we had to be right next to the girls so they wouldn't run into people's houses. We've come a long way. I'm so proud of my little girls.
Ethan was so proud because everyone recognized Sonic. The girls looked beautiful, and were a big hit with the teenagers, who knew exactly who they were. The best costume of the night, announced by several people was Dan, who was mistaken for cheese by some adults, but the kids, they all knew who he was, specially when Pinky was standing next to him.

Hispanic Heritage Month

The girls had to dress up for school as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. Bianca picked Brazil because she wanted to dress like the Carnival. Fiona didn't get to choose because we already had a dress that looked Spanish. They wore their costumes all day, at school and we went to the pumpkin patch that afternoon.
